Acceptable Use Policy

Mokorotlo is a calm, aspirational space. These rules keep it that way.

What is not allowed

Nudity or sexual content of any kind.
Violence, gore, weapons in use, or threats against any person or group.
Hate speech, slurs, or discrimination based on race, gender, religion, sexuality, disability, or nationality.
Insults, harassment, or personal attacks against other users.
Impersonation or misrepresentation — pretending to be another real person, a brand, a public figure, or Mokorotlo staff.
Spam, scams, phishing, or misleading promotions.
Illegal content under applicable law.

How moderation works

Every post caption, comment, and uploaded image is screened by automated AI moderation before it goes live. Content that is flagged for nudity, violence, hate, insults, or impersonation is blocked at the point of submission. In addition, users can report anything they see, and reported content is reviewed and can be removed.

Consequences for misuse

Strike 1 — the post or comment is blocked and you receive an in-app warning.
Strike 2 — a 7-day block on posting and commenting from your device.
Strike 3 — a permanent ban on your device.
Severe violations (explicit sexual content, graphic violence, hate speech, credible threats) can result in a permanent ban on the first offence.
